Day 3 – Time to Give Thanks

It’s a little late for this post. Better late than never.
Today we gathered around friends and family, munched on great food, shared stories, had a few laughs, and told each other how thankful we all are to have each other.
Thankfully, it doesn’t end.
The setting sun might have forced everyone to part ways until next year – some longer than others.
Luckily,  my family lives close enough that we can see each other more than once a year. I wish it was more often,  but every second we spend together is priceless.
So as you wake up tomorrow and reflect on today, think aboat all the laughter; the tears and hugs; loving smacks on the shoulder; and great food around a group of people who you’ll cherish forever. Even if there are a few missing from the table, let them know how much they mean to you and think those happy memories.
We can’t afford to live day-to-day reflecting on unpleasant memories.
Love those that love you and the ones that might need a bit of love, too.
Thanksgiving isn’t just about giving thanks.
And it’s not the only day out of the year where you can share what you’re grateful for.
Be happy to be alive. Love every breath you take. Share that love with those around you.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Cheers!
